What can you expect?

Three hundred acres of prime ranch land and a wonderful—if dilapidated—house. With Christmas looming, she’ll need to race to turn it into the comfortable family home they’ll need as soon as they get married.
But when a delayed flight results in the loss of their hotel room, Cole and Sunshine realize they’ll have to couch surf through the holidays. Staying with each of their friends in turn leads to a series of revelations that might undermine their relationship for good. Can Cole and Sunshine make it until Christmas?

She folded the paper twice and slid it into her bra. “I’ll do that.” Leaning forward across the counter, she gave Rob—and Cole—an eyeful of cleavage. “I don’t suppose you’d run out to the local supermarket and buy me some organic coffee?” “Hell, yeah.” Rob was halfway to the door before she finished speaking. Cole had to run to catch up with him. “You do that and you’re banned from the range for life.” “That ain’t—” “For life.” Cole waited for that to sink in. “Jamie and Ethan are already in back winning the Six Shooter and Six Pack contest. Are you gonna get back there or not?” “Aw, I guess so.” Rob winked at Sunshine as he walked on by. “Don’t worry, honey. I’ll hook you up later.” “Don’t think you can set my friends against me,” Cole said to Sunshine as soon as Rob disappeared into the back. “I’m not doing anything.” “Like hell. Flashing those… breasts.” She laughed out loud. “These ol’ things? My momma gave them to me and I’ll flash them whenever I want.” She returned to her cleaning, which was a good thing because it meant she missed the smile which stretched across his face at that preposterous declaration. For a second she’d sounded as sassy as a country girl. Maybe there was hope for her yet.

]]>Cole was handsome, not in a movie-star kind of way, but in a manly, I-know-what-I’m-doing kind of way. Big and strong and masculine; just the way she liked them. Greg had been cute enough, but Cole filled out his jeans and t-shirt in a way Greg never could. He was easy in his skin and she had the feeling he could change a tire, or fix a dishwasher—things Greg would have to hire someone else to do. She’d noticed Cole’s hands, earlier—large, strong, hands capable of doing all sorts of things. Sunshine groaned. This was getting her nowhere except hot and bothered with no relief in sight.
